Note- We advise you to wear glasses/goggles during the back-lapping process as the paste can spit off the cylinder at times. It is also a good idea to have the cylinder at a comfortable height while you're doing this and please be careful as the blade will be sharp. If your blade is stone damaged, it is still worth giving back lapping a try- if you don't have any luck doing this, you can take your cylinder to your local dealer who will do this for you using a grinder. We advise you to always take your cylinder to a dealer to have it sharpened; back-lapping is meant as a temporary sharpen e.g. during a busy tournament where grounds crews don't have the time to visit dealers etc.
