The team you’ll be working in
Working within the Aftersales team, you will play a vital supportive role in delivering World-Class aftersales technical support to our customers on and off site by ensuring that warranty and service repairs are completed as scheduled and customer satisfaction targets are met whilst adhering to agreed sales targets.
What you’ll be doing
So that you can get a feel for the job, here is what you will be doing day to day:
· Carry out machine service, repair and refurbishment work on the full product range both on site and in field
· Effectively diagnose faults and component issues in a timely manner.
· Be the main point of contact to provide technical support for both UK and overseas customers and dealers for full range of products
· Provide technical support for customers in field
· Provide technical support to stakeholders and assist in the resolution of customer issues, signposting them to relevant support guidance
· Rectify any warranty issues both on site and in field
· Support and proactively work towards a reduction in warranty cases and costs across the business
· Identify and feedback any repeat quality issues that affect warranty cases and costs
· Ensure customer technical questions and queries are handled promptly
· Proactively identify sales opportunities amongst customer base particularly for upselling
· Work across the business with other key stakeholders to meet company objectives
· You may be required to perform such other and/or additional duties within your skill and competence as the business may require.
What you’ll need to succeed
· Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position
· Mechanical assembly experience would be desirable
· Use of technical manuals, drawings and standard operating procedures would be desirable
· Knowledge of basic engineering principles would be advantageous
· Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative
· Exceptional problem-solving skills
· Working knowledge or core Microsoft packages
· Full UK driving licence

Hours of work are 40 hours per week – 08:00-17.00 Mon –Thu / 08:00-15:45 Fri
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 gross per annum depending on experience.
Location: Hixon, Stafford (rural location)
